What are ISBN and where do I find them?
The International Standard Book Number, or ISBN, is a unique identification number assigned to commercial books. Think of it like a UPC found on other products.
Each book edition, cover type (hardcover versus paperback), etc. will have a unique ISBN. So, a hardcover textbook will have a different ISBN than the same edition textbook which has a paperback or looseleaf cover. ISBNs are typically located on the back cover. They can also be found on the copyright page.
If for some reason your ISBN cannot be found, just snap a picture of the cover and send it to us. We can research the book for you.
